Wild Rivers Let Loose On New Album, ‘Never Better’

Alt-folk hotshots Wild Rivers are sticking by who they are with the release of their latest album, 'Never Better.'

Platinum-selling alt-folk trio, Wild Rivers are continuing to heat up 2024 with the release of their highly-anticipated new studio album, Never Better. Released via the Nettwerk Music Group, Never Better is Wild Rivers letting loose with producer Gabe Wax out in Joshua Tree, CA so how can this album release get any better?

Alongside the release of their new album, Wild Rivers also dropped a new visualizer directed by Hannah Gray Hall and produced by Weird Candy for the album’s title feature, “Never Better.” This new visualizer gives listeners an incredible feel of the track, matches the vibes perfectly, and provides a wonderful viewing.

On the album itself, the alt-folk group shares, “We approached this record with the mindset, “This is who we are.” We aren’t pretending to be something we’re not, or trying to sound like anyone else. We wanted it to feel easy. We wanted the stories to be real. We wanted to show our true selves as best we could. We’re proud of who we’ve become as people and as a team. We truly feel like we’re having the most fun with music that we’ve ever had, and in the most exciting stage of our lives. We’re never better.”

Wild Rivers’ release of Never Better adds to the group’s already stellar year as their breakout single, “Thinking ‘Bout Love,” became recently certified RIAA Gold here in the United States, adding to the trio’s Platinum from Canada and Gold from Australia. It is an exciting time for the future of Wild Rivers as they continue to just be themselves.
