Still from Charlotte Sands' new music video, "Use Me."

Charlotte Sands’ New Music Video For “Use Me” Is Beautiful

Charlotte Sands expresses her self-love with a new music video for, "use me."

Pop-rock star Charlotte Sands has unleashed the simplistic yet stunning music video for her “self-love anthem,” “use me.” The track, which is the lead single off of Charlotte’s upcoming debut album, can we start over? Itself is filled with powerful themes and relatable qualities that I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one on my repeat playlists.

As mentioned, the music video is simple and features Charlotte Sands and her band performing in a black void of a room, leaving viewers alone with the artist and their thoughts as the song blares through the senses, creating a memorable and thought-provoking experience.

Regarding the track itself, Charlotte explains, “We wrote “use me” at a time when I was constantly trying to please everyone around me and felt like I was continuously coming up short of their expectations.

No matter how hard I tried or how much I gave, it never felt like I was good enough. This song is about finally letting go of that pressure and accepting myself for who I actually am instead of the version that other people want me to be.”

Aside from the stunningly simple music video, “use me,” in its own right, is a beautiful track that successfully conveys the need to love yourself rather than try to reach someone else’s crazy expectations.

If you’d like to hear “use me” and Charlotte Sands’ other amazing songs live, the pop-rocker is currently on tour with The Band CAMINO and will embark on a UK tour with 5 Seconds of Summer soon. Tour dates can be found on her official site.
