Sleep On It Release “Under The Moment” Music Video

In celebration of their album announcement, Chicago-based pop-rock band Sleep On It has released a new music video from the latest single “Under The Moment.” Produced by Mike Green (All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer, Set It Off) “Under The Moment” is an infectious piece of sound that has me excited to check out the band’s upcoming album Pride & Disaster when it’s released on September 13 via Equal Vision Records.

While talking about their latest single, vocalist Zach Pluister expressed, “at its core, the song is a cry for help. I spent a lot of the last year struggling with my depression and anxiety, and without even realizing it I had fallen deeper than I really even noticed into those things. “Take my hand pull me again” is a plea to anyone listening. The song also really tells the story of the struggle between the denial of those mental health issues, saying you’re fine, lying to loved ones to cover for yourself; asking those same people for help from under the crushing weight of each day.”

“Under The Moment” manages to capture a sense of despair in a very catchy way that will keep you listening for hours. It’s a great tune that further showcases the amazing career this band has staring back at them.

Once again, Sleep On It will release Pride & Disaster featuring “Under The Moment” on September 13. If you’re also interested in checking out Sleep On It in a live setting, make sure to check out their official website for upcoming tour dates.
