Genre-bender Altara has spent the last few years honing his craft and evolving his sound and is ready to tackle the stream-waves with the release of his debut single, “Somebody To Lose.” A pleasantly calm listening experience that took my senses on an adventure through a unique, yet familiar wall of sound.
On his new single, Altara explained, “When I find myself falling for someone, I get very in my own head & can make everything too heavy. I wanted to write something that made light of that, I wanted to show myself that catching feelings doesn’t have to be deep & over the top, it can be fun, easy & even embarrassing in the best way. This song really helped me reinforce that.”
As the first single, “Somebody To Lose,” will be featured on Altara’s upcoming debut EP, The Lobby, which hopefully looks to be released sooner than later because I selfishly want more to listen to.
