5 Seconds Of Summer Goes Apocalyptic For “Older” Music Video

5 Seconds of Summer embrace the end of the world with the release of their music video for their latest single, "Older."

The guys of 5 Seconds of Summer are doing little slowing down when it comes to their continued promotional work for their latest studio album, 5SOS5, this time in an apocalyptic-themed music video for the soft-sung single, “Older,” which also features the talented Sierra Deaton.

Directed by Frank Borin and Ivanna Borin, the music video for “Older” takes viewers on an end of days trip through the country-side as 5 Seconds of Summer somberly performs as the world begins to end, showcasing a series of events featuring families, significant others, and more as they embrace and enjoy their final moments together.

The decision to set the music video for “Older” in an apocalyptic setting is undoubtedly a choice I wouldn’t have figured matching up with the romantic themes of the track. Still, the final product is stunning, beautiful in nature, and makes the overall scope of the band’s new single so much more complex.

5 Seconds of Summer continue to impress with their 5SOS5 era, and continued music videos and live performances are sure to blow fans and newcomers away.
