Did you miss EMO-legends My Chemical Romance performing their mega-hit album The Black Parade in full during this year’s When We Were Young festival? You’ll get another shot if you live in North America as the EMO icons have just announced their 2025 Long Live The Black Parade North American stadium tour.
Following a day of cryptic teasing across their social accounts, My Chemical Romance announced that they’ll be hitting up 10 stadiums across North America, including Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. Each of the 10 stops will also feature a variety of different openers that include Wallows, Evanescence, Alice Cooper, Death Cab For Cutie, Devo, Idles, Thursday, Pixies, Garbage, 100 Gecs, and Violent Femmes.
Alongside the above tour teaser, which sets the band’s Long Live The Black Parade North American tour as a sort of live sequel to the band’s genre-defining album, My Chemical Romance shares, “It has been seventeen years since The Black Parade was sent to the MOAT. In that time, a great Dictator has risen to power, bringing about “THE CONCRETE AGE”; a glorious time of stability and abundance in the history of DRAAG. His Grand Immortal Dictator wishes to celebrate our rich and storied culture, fine foods, and musical entertainments by welcoming you to these great demonstrations of power and resolve. And lending voice and song for the first time in six thousand two hundred and forty-six days, their work privilege ceremoniously reinstated, will be His Grand Immortal Dictator’s National Band… The Black Parade. Long Live Draag.”
Tickets for My Chemical Romance’s upcoming stadium tour will go on general sale beginning November 15 at 10 AM local time. No presale for the upcoming tour has been announced so expect that the only chance to grab some tickets will be during the tour’s initial general sale.
