Child Of The Parish Share Dark New Single, “Local Bragging Rights”

Child of the Parish is bringing listeners into the dark in a glitter-pop way with their new single, "Local Bragging Rights."

Electro-pop duo Child of the Parish continues to roll through 2024 leaving hallucinations across the airwaves with constant plays on Radio 1 Future Artist and rave fan reception. The party doesn’t end however as the duo have just released their latest single, “Local Bragging Rights.” A dark-fitting, upbeat new track that’ll take your mind for an unforgettable ride.

“Local Bragging Rights” comes biting at the heels of Child of the Parish’s upcoming debut album, Sweet Surrender, which will feature the latest single as well as the duo’s hard-hitting previous releases, “Always the Fool” and “Swim with the Tide.” The upcoming debut release is scheduled to drop on September 6.

On the subject of their new single, Ben Vella shares, “There’s a darkside to the lyrics, but then the music itself is weirdly upbeat. So you have a serious, sad topic dressed up in a glittery outfit.”

I’m looking forward to the release of Sweet Surrender, and I’ll be giving “Local Bragging Rights” so many replays throughout the weekend as I’ve been enjoying my time with the song.
