Girlfriends Share New Single, “Life’s A Brittany” + Announce New EP Release Date

Rising duo girlfriends share their new single, "Life's A Brittany," alongside the release date of their upcoming EP, 'Over My Dead Body.'

Rising duo girlfriends (Travis Mills & Nick Gross) have shared their new single, “Life’s A Brittany,” to help celebrate the announcement that their new EP, Over My Dead Body, will drop on May 12 via Big Noise. The Andrew Goldstein-produced EP will showcase the duo’s continued signature pop-punk charm.

Alongside the release of “Life’s A Brittany,” the duo has also released an accompanying visualizer featuring a custom doll spiraling out to the track.

While talking about their latest release, Travis Miller shared, “‘Brittany” was one of those songs that started off as a complete joke in my head. I almost felt guilty writing it because it’s so conversational and “easy” that I had to question if it was good or not.”

“The beauty about working with a producer like Goldstein is he does a really great job at stripping away the “rules” of songwriting. If it’s good, it’s good, and I think it’s a song a lot of people would be scared to make, but it hits the nail on the head of who we are not only as a band but as people.”

Once again, girlfriends will release their new EP, Over My Dead Body, featuring “Life’s A Brittany” on May 12, ahead of the duo’s upcoming tour plans with Avril Lavigne and The Used.
