Linkin Park Return With New Vocalist Emily Armstrong, Announce New Album ‘From Zero’

Linkin Park has returned with new vocalist Emily Armstrong and a new album, 'From Zero,' dropping November 15.

It’s been an adventurous few days, a few countdowns and trolling. But, Linkin Park has returned with new vocalist Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara. Also joining the returning nu-metal icons is producer Colin Brittain (G Flip, ONE OK ROCK) on drums.

Alongside the reveal of their new vocalist, Linkin Park has also announced a new album, From Zero, to be released on November 15 via Warner Records, featuring their latest single, “The Emptiness Machine.” Pre-orders for Linkin Park’s upcoming studio album featuring Emily Armstrong are already up for pre-order in various selections on the band’s official webstore.

On their upcoming album, Mike Shinoda exclaims, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future – embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”

When it comes to working with Emily Armstrong, Linkin Park’s new vocalist, and drummer Colin Brittain, Shinoda shares, “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created. We feel really empowered with this new lineup and the vibrant and energized new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touchpoints we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones.”

Within the exciting news of their new lineup and announcement of their new album, Linkin Park will also embark on a small world tour kicking off on September 11 in Los Angeles at the KIA Forum.
