Calum Hood Lets His Emotions Run Wild With Debut Single, “Don’t Forget You Love Me”

Watch the video for Calum Hood's debut solo single, "Don't Forget You Love Me."

5 Seconds of Summer bassist Calum Hood has officially left his unemployed life and entered his employed era with the release of his debut solo single, “Don’t Forget You Love Me.” The first single to be released from the artist’s upcoming solo album, ORDER chaos ORDER, which drops right before Summer on June 13.

Alongside the release of his solo debut across streaming platforms, Calum Hood has also dropped an accompanying music video directed by Andy DeLuca that perfectly captures the beautiful chaos presented thematically throughout the single’s emotional lyrics.

“Don’t Forget You Love Me” further pushes the envelope for Calum Hood in a direction completely different from the music typically performed alongside his brothers in 5SOS, creating a wonderful soundscape for the senses that’s both thought-provoking and easy to sing. I’ve quickly become excited for this next stage of Calum Hood’s career.

It should be noted that before the release of his debut solo single, Calum Hood had sent social channels ablaze last week due to being listed as a co-writer on bandmate Michael Clifford’s solo debut, “Cool.”

Fans excited for the release of ORDER chaos ORDER can pre-save the upcoming album on their streaming service of choice, as well as pre-order a variety of physical versions of the album, 2 of which are signed copies of the upcoming release.
