JESSIA Drops Emotional Breakup Anthem, “Different People”

JESSIA gets personal with new emotional breakup anthem, "Different People."

Canadian pop sensation JESSIA continues her journey through the void with her new single, “Different People,” an emotional breakup anthem that will break your replay button in the process.

After a successful transition to a purely independent artist after splitting with her label, JESSIA has shown no signs of slowing down, releasing some of the best emotionally charged songs of the year with, “Care About Me” and “The Woman You Are.”

Alongside the drop of her new single, JESSIA has also released a perfectly themed lyric video that paints “Different People” beautifully, leaving it all on the table, and leaving viewers hanging from each lyric.

On “Different People” itself, JESSIA shares, “It’s about the no-contact stage of a breakup and all the intrusive thoughts that go along with it. This song is for everyone resisting the urge to pick up the phone and text their ex. Instead of calling him, put this song on at full volume and go for a midnight drive.”

“Different People” will join “Care About Me” and “The Woman You Are” on JESSIA’s upcoming EP, Okay With Every Part. The 6-track EP will be released later this month on July 19 and is already shaping up to be one of my favorite releases of the year.

Keep up with JESSIA
