After joining the Open Your Ears Records family, pop-rock artist Penny Bored has released their new single, “dance in hell,” a high-energy listening experience that has fueled my day so far, as I slowly begin to get lost in the lyrics and wall of sound.
Alongside the release of their new single, Penny Bored has also announced their upcoming EP, I’m Bored!, will be dropping on September 13. A music video for “dance in hell” directed by babyave has also been released that brings the track to life in a fun fashion way.
On their new single, Penny Bored songwriter Faith Alesia shares, “‘Dance in Hell’ is all about my relationship with self-sabotage, but more importantly how important it is to find the positive in a negative situation.”
For the upcoming EP, Faith explains, “I’m Bored! is all about navigating your 20s. We experience heartbreak, navigate friendships, gossip, and even learn to own up to our own mistakes. This collection of songs breaks down my journey of entering a new phase of adulthood and learning to make the most of it, even if I have to be a little delusional some days to get through it.”
While “dance in hell” can be streamed across all streaming services now, fans can also begin to pre-save I’m Bored! As well as pick up a few cute Penny Bored items via Open Your Ears Records that include a tote bag and shirt.
