Boys Like Girls Announce New Single, “Blood and Sugar”

Boys Like Girls has announced their official studio comeback with the release of their new single, "Blood and Sugar," coming Friday, May 19.

Pop-rock icons Boys Like Girls have been making their way worldwide, touring religiously. Teasing fans along the way with the promise of new music to come soon, and the teasing ends this Friday, May 19, with the release of their new single, “Blood and Sugar.”

The first tease of a May release came during the band’s performance of “The Outside” during the 2022 When We Were Young Festival. If the timeline is still correct, “The Outside” has been re-titled “Blood and Sugar,” and if it is the same track, fans are in for a treat as the reception to “The Outside” was phenomenal.

A fun, Boys Like Girls experience that keeps the band’s spirit alive while continuing their experimentation approach. It’s an entirely new Boys Like Girls adventure for fans no longer in their mid-teens, playing their first two albums in a parking lot while skating with friends.

Alongside the announcement of the imminent release of “Blood and Sugar,” Boys Like Girls took to their social platforms to release a behind-the-scenes look at the hard work they’ve been putting in, a proper comeback for these legends of new generational angst, a worthy comeback for a dedicated fanbase.
