“Live Forever” continues to be my anthem for 2021 and should be a heavy hitter during Blast out your Stereo’s Song of the Year Extravaganza bracket later this year. But, these new tracks “Lemonade” and “Saltwater” are simply a chef’s kiss. Not only does “Lemonade” feature the excellent Calling Crystal, but it’s a straight vibe that many will relate to, find a home with, and enjoy constantly.

Don’t get me started on “Saltwater,” as I’m already singing along. One thing is certain, these three tracks provide a perfect tease for listeners, and I can’t wait to explore the rest of Live Forever when it’s released on December 17.

These phenomenal new songs aside, Live Forever will feature a total of eight new tracks, one of which will feature the talented Jocelyn Hsu on violin. Neil himself also shares that the concept and message behind his upcoming album are “leaning into what fills you up,” so fans and new listeners can expect a full-blown uplifting experience. Which in our at times depressing world should come off as a breath of fresh air for many.

Continuing Benjamin Neil also shared that Live Forever “is the first time I’ve really gotten to collaborate with so many different artists on one release. We’ve got ten or so different musicians throughout the record, and all of the artwork is hand-drawn and colored by West Palm Beach tattoo artist Sara More.”

Neil also gives his thanks to James Reid at Bynx Records for his engineering skills and Julian Montes at Firewatch Studios for mixing and mastering.

The future is bright for Benjamin Neil, and his upcoming album, Live Forever, is shaping up to be a memorable piece of sound. If you’d like to keep up with everything Neil has going on, you should shoot him a follow on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
