Korean pop-rock group The Rose is basking in their newfound freedom with the release of their new song, “Beauty and the Beast.” Penned as the band’s last contractual release with former label J&Star, “Beauty and the Beast” is accompanied by an awe-inspiring and downright beautiful music video that showcases various fairy tale scenarios, ultimately resulting in a captivating look at love and embrace.
The track itself is very whimsical, showcasing the group putting together an incredible instrumental showcase that will keep fans in tears as they hit replay constantly. A phenomenal Coldplay-esque guitar riff is quickly backed up by subtle drum beats, a simplistic yet stunning bass line, and vocal work that will continue to keep the Black Rose fanbase growing.
But, more on all of that in a future single review, in which I’m looking forward to jumping straight into the emotional connection that “Beauty and the Beast” has to offer for new and returning listeners.
While “Beauty and the Beast” will surely take the interwebs by storm, The Rose members DoJoon is scheduled to be discharged from military service on January 5, 2022, while members HaJoon and JaeHyeong will return on Jully 11, 2022, and August 10, 2022, respectively.
The future is looking brighter than ever for the members of The Rose, and I’m sure Black Rose can look forward to even more new music in the not-so-distant future.
