Nina Nesbitt Gets Deeply Personal With New Single, “Anger”

Nina Nesbitt's new single "Anger" lets listeners in as the singer-songwriter gets deeply personal.

Nina Nesbitt, the talented Scottish singer-songwriter has returned with her new single, “Anger.” An emotional experience that hit me square in the heart as my ears grasped every single personal lyric following Nina Nesbitt’s exceptional vocal delivery. “Anger” is a deep refresher for the genre as a whole.

Alongside the release of her latest single, Nina Nesbitt also released an emotionally powerful matching music video that brings the emotional weight of “Anger” to life in beautiful fashion. Director Wolf James and the rest of the music video team did an exceptional job.

Speaking on the raw nature of her new single, Nina Nesbitt shares, “As someone who is introverted and quiet I’ve always struggled to know how to express my anger. I think a lot of the time we associate male anger with destruction and violence but female anger to me, feels like a force of nature. I think a lot of us use our rage as fuel to become better. We turn our pain into beauty.”

“We turn the chaos into creation. Songwriting is my vessel for expressing that. Writing this song was my therapy after feeling totally betrayed and let down by someone close to me. For me, anger feels like love that has nowhere to exist anymore. It’s something that I’m learning to let out in order to let go.”

“Anger” follows the talented artist’s previous releases, “Pages,” “On The Run,” “Mansion,” and “I’m Coming Home,” and will feature on her upcoming album, Mountain Music, which is scheduled for release on September 27 via her own label, Apple Tree Records with a plethora of physical options available for pre-order.
