American Football, Hayley Williams Release “Uncomfortably Numb”

American Football have unleashed a new music video for their latest single “Uncomfortably Numb,” which features the very talented Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams. “Uncomfortably Numb” is a very mellow tune that fits the perfect scene for a late night drive through the mountains, leaving the blaring city lights behind, and when coupled between the sweet vocals from both Mike Kinsella and Hayley Williams you have the making of one phenomenally repeatable song.

The Atiba Jefferson directed music video for “Uncomfortably Numb” fits the vibe and tone of the track perfectly, and according to Spin also features a few cameos from Workaholics‘ Blake Anderson, professional skater Paul Rodriguez, and Samhain drummer London May.

If you enjoyed listening to American Football’s latest single, you can look forward to even more when their upcoming album, American Football (LP3) is released on March 22 via Polyvinyl Records. The upcoming eight track album from the Illinois based rock band will also feature guests such as Elizabeth Powell (“Every Wave To Ever Rise”) and Rachel Goswell (“I Can’t Feel You”).
