We The Kings Find Their Inner Hercules With “Go The Distance”

We The Kings are bringing the magic of Disney's 'Hercules' to the pop-punk world with their take on "Go the Distance."

Disney adults! Continue to re-find your inner pop-punk kid as Disney’s A Whole New Sound is almost here. As September 6 quickly approaches and Disney adults like myself get even closer to having our pre-Disney Parks soundtrack, Disney Music has dropped yet another new song from the upcoming release! We’re heading to Mt. Olympus with We The Kings as they tackle the fan-favorite, “Go the Distance.”

Alongside the release of “Go the Distance” onto the various streaming platforms, Disney Music has also released a subtle yet fitting new music video that showcases the guys of We The Kings doing what they do best in a more strip-backed manner.

We The Kings’ take on the Hercules classic doesn’t stray too far from the original’s charm. But it does inject a dose of that sweet We The Kings style of pop-punk that we love from these Florida pop-punkers. It’s nothing too complex but does continue to give listeners another taste of the excellence that has been Disney Music’s sneak peek at the upcoming A Whole New Sound album so far.

With the album’s September 6 release looming closer. As a quick reminder, if you want to own a physical copy of Disney’s pop-punk crossover, a physical vinyl release should be going up for pre-order beginning on release day with an October 4 release.
