American rockers Certain Death are letting out their many anxieties with the release of their new single, “Paranoid.” A quick-hitting, methodic pure rock listening experience that’ll keep listeners vibing all day.
On the single itself, lead singer Henry Black explains, “This song really speaks to the shared experience of overindulgence and paranoia in nightlife that is both repulsive and irresistible. It’s all too familiar to anyone in a scene of artists pulling late-nighters.”
“Paranoid” truly paints Certain Death as a nostalgic point in time where flashy guitars and riveting lyrical diaries were king and artists put their love and sweat into the art they were pushing out into the world. I can’t wait to see what they have planned running up next.
Thankfully, listeners won’t have to wait too long as Certain Death plans on releasing another single sometime in September while they continue to work on their upcoming album, Strange Garden, which itself is looking at a release in October. Nothing says rock and roll like the Season of the Witch.
