HRZN Takes Us To “Wonderland” With Their New Single

Alt-punk group HRZN takes listeners to "Wonderland" through their powerful new single. Check out the band's new music video.

Denver’s own alt-punk group HRZN is overcoming mental obstacles with the release of their new single, “Wonderland.” An electrifying wall of sound that’ll keep you going throughout the stressful day.

While describing the processes that went into recording “Wonderland,” vocalist Morgan Elizabeth shared, “A lot of our songs are to help cope with mental health.

This song, in particular, is about feeling like you’re fighting a battle with yourself, taking yourself to a place that doesn’t much make sense, which is where the Alice in Wonderland nods in the lyrics apply to. I want people to be able to feel like they can identify with themes of the song; maybe it can help them realize that other people might feel like they do.

Created as a way of grounding post-panic attack, “Wonderland” manages to accomplish this through relatable lyrics, heart-pounding instrumentals, and an energy that’s both welcoming and fresh—a take on the genre that’s loosely forgotten nowadays.

If you enjoyed what you heard through “Wonderland” and would like to experience the single live alongside HRZN’s other amazing songs, you can find tickets for the band’s upcoming string of spring tour dates on their website.
