EXNATIONS Release New Song “Tether”

Sad-pop act EXNATIONS recently released their latest song “Tether,” (via All Things Go) which is off their newly announced sophomore EP, Pink Haze, which will see its release on June 28. Being tossed around as an EP that is filled with hazy, dream-like attributes that also happens to be full of passion and crazy energy, Pink Haze is shaping up to be an explosive release for EXNATIONS.

The band’s new single, “Tether” helps to bridge that thought process, as it’s a full blown catchy tune, that’s not too far on the pop scale, just enough to keep listeners invested and coming back for more. Instrumentally, the new song fits perfectly within the dreamscape scope of music, making it a calming and enduring three minutes.

While talking about the new track, lead singer Sal Mastrocola stated that “Tether” is a “story about the early days of a budding romance. The nervous energy, the silly games, the small spark of possibility that this time it’s the real thing. A feeling that seems all the more precious in this era when we look for love on our phones.”
